Terms and Conditions of Use

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the C-Serv website at www.c-serv.net  ("C-Serv Site") and your relationship with C-Serv. 

Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the C-Serv Site. If you have any questions on the Terms and Conditions, please contact info@c-serv.net. 

www.c-serv.net is a site operated by C-Serv Global Ltd (“C-Serv”). C-Serv is registered in England and Wales under Company Number '08470243' and the Registered Office is at First Floor, 5 Fleet Place, London, United Kingdom, EC4M 7RD.   

If you are seeking to instruct C-Serv for the provision of recruitment services, our Standard Terms and Conditions shall apply. 

  

Use of the C-Serv Site 

We operate the C-Serv Site to assist you in understanding C-Serv’s services and in communicating with us. 

The C-Serv Site is provided for your personal use subject to these Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Amendments 

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons or to allow the proper operation of the C-Serv Site. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any changes. The changes will apply to the use of the C-Serv Site after we have given notice. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms and Conditions you should not continue to use the C-Serv Site. If you continue to use the C-Serv Site after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use of the C-Serv Site indicates your agreement to be bound by the new 

  

Your use of the C-Serv Site 

You may not use the C-Serv Site for any of the following purposes: 

  • disseminating any unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material or otherwise breaching any laws; 

  • transmitting material that encourages conduct that constitutes a criminal offence, results in civil liability or otherwise breaches any applicable laws, regulations or code of practice; 

  • interfering with any other person's use or enjoyment of the C-SERV Site; or 

  • making, transmitting or storing electronic copies of materials protected by copyright without the permission of the owner. 

You will be responsible for our losses and costs resulting from your breach of this clause. 

By submitting information through the C-Serv Site you agree and acknowledge that while we may contact you in response to the information you provide, we are not obliged to provide you with any particular product or services. 

  

Employers & Clients 

C-Serv makes no representation or warranty in respect of any of the following: 

  • the existence or availability of any appointment advertised on the C-Serv Site; 

  • that any Employer or Client will ask for your CV, ask to interview you or recruit you; 

  • that any Employer or Client will keep confidential any of your information or data provided to that Employer or Client, albeit we use our best endeavours to make them aware of their Data Protection requirements and their duty of care to adhere to the statutory requirement of the same; or 

  • the final terms and duration of any appointment obtained through the C-Serv Site. 

  

Disclaimer 

Whilst C-Serv uses reasonable care in compiling and presenting the content found on the C-Serv Site, it is provided purely for information and you should seek further guidance and make independent enquiries before relying upon it. If C-Serv is informed of any inaccuracies in the material on the C-Serv Site we will attempt to correct the inaccuracies as soon as we reasonably can. 

If we are in breach of these Terms and Conditions, we will only be responsible for any losses that you suffer to the extent that they are a foreseeable consequence to both of us. Our liability shall not in any event include business losses such as lost data, lost profits or business interruption. 

These Terms and Conditions shall not limit or affect our liability if something we do negligently causes death or personal injury. 

  

Website Linking 

Linking to our site 

You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. 

You must not establish a link from any website that is not owned by you.   

Our site must not be framed on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of our site other than the home page. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice. 

  

Links from our site 

Where our site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources, and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. 

  

Viruses, hacking and other offences 

You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via a denial-of- service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. 

By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our site will cease immediately. 

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our site or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it. 

  

Intellectual Property 

C-Serv is the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. 

You may retrieve and display the content of the C-Serv Site on a computer screen, store such content in electronic form on disk (but not any server or other storage device connected to a network) or print one copy of such content for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on the C-Serv Site without written permission from C-Serv. 

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text. 

Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on our site must always be acknowledged to any third parties. 

You must not use any part of the materials on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors. 

  

Equal Opportunities & Diversity 

We may also release information relating to you to regulatory or law enforcement authorities, if required to do so. 

We may use the information we have collected about you on an anonymized basis for the purposes of monitoring in relation to our equal opportunities policy. We also reserve the right to disclose the information we have collected about you to our professional advisers and to other persons to the extent that C-Serv contracts out any aspect of the operation of its recruitment agency services. These third parties will be acting under similar undertakings of confidentiality as C-Serv. 

Applicable Jurisdiction 

These terms and conditions will be subject to the laws of England and Wales. We will try to solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement, and you want to take court proceedings, you must do so within the United Kingdom. 

  

Miscellaneous 

You may not transfer any of your rights under these Terms and Conditions to any other person. We may transfer our rights under these Terms and Conditions to another business where we reasonably believe your rights will not be affected. 

If you breach these Terms and Conditions and C-Serv chooses to ignore this, C-Serv will still be entitled to use its rights and remedies at a later date or in any other situation where you breach the Terms and Conditions. 

C-Serv shall not be responsible for any breach of these Terms and Conditions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
